T-Shirts, Hoodies, Sweats, bags etc all tend to be best Screen Printed, supacolour is a great option when there are a lot of colours or the print run is small.

Embroidery tends to be used on Polos, Jackets, Caps etc. However also looks great on hoodies.

Aprons. caps and beanies are best embroidered, however caps can also be transferred.

Teatowels need to be dye printed. Some other companies do use plastisol however it defeats the purpose of a tea towel entirely.

This will depend on the items. However we offer:

Screen Printing MOQ For up to One or Two Colour Prints

20 Units for T-Shirts, Singlets, Bags etc.10 Units for Repeat orders. 10 Units for Hoodies and Aprons.

Screen Printing MOQ For up to Three Print Colours:

20 Units for T-Shirts, Singlets, Bags, Aprons etc, including repeat orders.Check with our staff if this includes your hoodie repeat orders as they may allow from 10 units on repeat orders.

Screen Printing MOQ For up to Four Print Colours:

Digital Process MOQ

20 Units for initial orders, 10 Units for repeat orders.Some items such as jackets may allow for smaller repeat orders, check with our staff.

Tea Towels

Tea Towel printing requires 50 units per design.

Our MOQ for new clients is 20+ Units. And we include a Free setup at 50+ units.

We have pricebreaks at 20, 50, 100, 250, 500, 1000.Bulk t-shirt printing really starts at 100-250 units per design, after this we need to see the artwork to really. Anything over 100 tee shirts or 50 hoodies could be considered bulk printing, however we have price-breaks into the thousands. Anything over 250-500 units we quote on based on various other factors so need to see artwork.Tea towels start at 50 units as a minimum, and a job is considered bulk at 500+ units per design, though we have pricelists all the way up to 1000+ units. Anything after this is quoted based on the design and accurateink usage.

Absolutely with some caveats.

Pricing is based on Branding, Garment and Quantities.

Provided that the setup (design) works on all garments these can be mixed and matched. The same goes for colour, provided the design works on all of your colour choices you can mix and match.

This works well with Men’s and Ladies Tees, Sweatshirts and Singlets where you can make your quantity from a combination of items. Aprons can also share the same setup and be done at the same time.

Issues

Some items can also be included with this but may limit your design size such as:• Hoodies (pocket can limit print size)• Childrens Tees and Hoods• Aprons can also limit print size

Another issue can be where a designs print colour does not work, if the artwork is simple, One Colour Text as an example you can print Black Text on light Garments and Light Text on Dark Garments. This can still count towards a larger total pricebreak – However if it does incur a $20.00 ink change fee.

Our general turnaround is 5-10 working days depending on the overall workload. You should let us know when you will need the apparel to ensure we can help you out. Most times we can, however we will let you know if we are unable to.

We use NZPost (previously Courierpost) and shipping can be 2-3 days with them. Some areas are overnight.

Generally speaking Our process usually follows the below:

• Artwork is soft proofed on chosen garments.

• We can arrange to send a sample garment, however this is for confirmed orders.

• Alternatively if you are Auckland Based you can visit us to see previously run work.

• Once approved, we brand.

Orders for jobs 100+ units can be photographed for approval, however the process is time sensitive an approval would need to be within minutes.

Orders for jobs 250+ units can be setup and press checked, however again this would need to be done within a short timeframe as the machines cannot sit idle.

Orders for jobs 500+ units can be sampled with a sample fee that is credited once the job is approved to run.

Steps we take to avoid issues

We want to make sure your job goes smoothly as such there are things we require from you. Including:• Print ready artwork• Sizing• Pantone Colours where possible.

Proofing is the best time to catch any issues, we can help with your artwork, sizing and colour choice. This is all placed on a proof, we ask that you check this carefully and let us know if you have specific measurement, positioning or colour requirements.

Once the proof is approved this is the document that is followed by our skilled printers here in the factory so it is extremely important that you are happy with the proof before we proceed.

The best t-shirt or apparel item to print depends on what you are wanting.

The best quality garments in New Zealand are from AS Colour, they have the best t-shirts and hoods. However that doesn’t mean they are the best fit for you.

For example if you are doing a giveaway you might want a cheap promo tee. We have an article to help you choose here.

However we can help with getting your artwork ready, charges may apply.

Short answer is no

We do contract print for agencies, however they are large accounts that supply only approved garments.

We occasionally allow repeat customers supply a garment or two that we cannot supply to be included in their print runs, however this is 100% at their risk.

Where to get cheap printing or what is the cheapest t-shirt in New Zealand?

We can and do supply promotional t-shirts, you can learn about them here.

However while our pricing is great, and some of these shirts are indeed cheap – This isn’t something we recommend to most people, you may think you want cheap, however most clients tend to choose a slightly better option when they see a better item.

Is cheaper better?

As an example nearly all clients will choose a slightly more expensive Supply Hood over the cheapest hoody we advertise online the Cloke Edge. Cloke have other great options however the Edge is a price-point item and best suited for events and promos.

A lot of the budget gear we do not actively advertise, at the end of the day our print needs a great substrate to look great and we prefer it if the garments you buy last well. However if you are running an event or are a charity and have a really tight budget there are some cheaper options we can look at for you.

Our printing is well priced because we print here, we are a commercial branding facility, which is why start our minimums at 20+ units.

We are a commercial facility, we are simply not geared up for small unit orders.If you only need one or two T-Shirts done, we recommend visiting your local mall, most have small monogramming stores.

For AS Colour yes, there is a minimum and a charge, they however do not supply the tags.You will need to get these done and to us,

Alternatively somewhere like IDS or Pattersons Labels can do the whole job. We do not organise this.
